Our Team

Shelly holds a BS in Business Administration – Finance from the University of South Carolina. She began her public accounting career while a senior in high school. Moving around on her husband’s military orders afforded her working experience in many facets of the corporate world, which allows her to understand and better serve her business clients.

After working for other local public accounting firms, she opened her own practice in 2005, where she felt she could better serve her clients by giving them the personalized attention and excellent service they deserve.

Shelly has over 25 years of experience in auditing, taxation, and business planning and consulting for individuals, businesses, and not-for-profits.

Originally from Erie County area of Pennsylvania, Shelly came to Sumter in 1990 due to her husband being stationed at Shaw AFB. They raised their four children here and made Sumter their home. Shelly quickly adapted to the local lake life and is an avid football fan (Penn State, Steelers, and Goooo Cocks!!).

Shelly is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of South Carolina, a member of the AICPA and the SCACPA. She is also a member of the Sumter Rotary Club, having served as President and been awarded Rotarian of the Year and twice awarded Avenue of Service Award. She also volunteers in numerous organizations.
